Overview

This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking tools, or social media plugins. The font is loaded directly from this server, not from Google or any other provider. Personal data is only processed where this is necessary to run the site, to book an appointment or to answer your enquiry.

Hosting

This website is hosted by easyname GmbH in Austria. When you visit the site, the server processes technically necessary data such as your IP address, the date and time of access and the page requested, in order to deliver the content and keep the service secure. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and reliable operation). A data processing agreement is in place with easyname.

Booking via Cal.com

I use Cal.com (Cal.com, Inc., USA) for booking appointments. The booking calendar on this site is only loaded when you click "Load calendar" (German: "Kalender laden"). Only then is a connection to Cal.com's servers established, which transfers in particular your IP address and technical information about your browser. The legal basis for loading the calendar is your consent given by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time for the future by not loading the calendar again.

When you book an appointment, Cal.com processes the data you enter (for example your name, email address, shop URL and message) and passes it on to me. The appointment is added to my Google Calendar and takes place via Google Meet. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract).

Cal.com processes data in the United States. For transfers from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Cal.com states that it relies on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or on an adequacy mechanism such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. A data processing agreement is in place with Cal.com. Once the calendar has been loaded, Cal.com may use its own cookies or similar technologies required for the booking. Contact by email

If you write to me, I process your details in order to answer your enquiry. My email runs on Google Workspace (Google Ireland Limited). The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns a possible collaboration, and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR otherwise (legitimate interest in answering enquiries).

Business outreach by me

I contact companies that could benefit from my services directly by email. For this I process the name, business email address, role and company of contact persons, as well as publicly available information about the respective online shop. This data comes from publicly available sources, such as the company’s legal notice or website, or from professional networks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest lies in initiating business relationships with companies.

If you would rather not be contacted again, a short reply to my email is enough. I will then delete your data and keep only your email address on record so that you receive no further messages. If no collaboration comes about, I delete the data no later than six months after the last contact.

Video messages via Loom

For personal video messages I use Loom (Loom, Inc., an Atlassian company, USA). When you open a video via the link in my email, Loom processes technical data such as your IP address, browser information and the time of access, and I can see whether and for how long the video was watched. If you are logged in to Loom, your name may be shown to me. Loom may use cookies for this. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in personal and clear communication).

Loom also processes data in the United States. For transfers from Europe, Atlassian states that it relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. A data processing agreement is in place with Atlassian. More information is available in Atlassian’s privacy policy at atlassian.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Cookies

This website itself does not set any cookies and does not store any information in your browser. Only when you load the booking calendar may Cal.com set cookies, see above.

Storage period

I only store personal data for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose or required by statutory retention obligations.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the authority where you live. An email to the address above is enough for any request.

Automated decision-making

No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.
